Here at Auto Wiz we offer an Alloy Wheel Refurbishment service that is second to none! Our state-of-the-art equipment, OEM materials and high level of expertise allow us to bring your wheels back to their original finish.
What can be repaired?
We can rectify most forms of Kerb damage, Corrosion, Flaking Paint, Stone Chips, Scratches, Cracks and Buckled wheels. Please see below for examples of our work.
How long does it take?
All wheels are different so the time scale for refurbishment varies. Many sets of wheels can be refurbished in 1 day, however some sets may take 2 days to refurbish. An accurate estimation of the time scale can be provided upon us viewing the wheels.
Refurbishment Process

Wheel is removed from vehicle

Tyre, valve, weights and center cap are removed from wheel

Wheel is completely chemically stripped of old finish

Any damage is grinded, filed and sanded

Entire wheel is shot blasted to create a uniformed surface

Wheel is pre-heated in our oven ready for powder coating
-
OEM primer powder coat is applied to entire wheel and oven cured
-
Chosen OEM basecoat is applied and is oven cured
-
OEM lacquer powder coat is applied to entire wheel and is oven cured
-
Tyre is re-fitted and the wheel is re-balanced
-
Wheel is inspected prior to being re-fitted to the vehicle

Wheels that are over 10"/255mm wide will incur an additional charge of £5 per wheel.

Split Rims may incur a further charge due to complexity of refurbishment.

All repair/refurbishment prices will be confirmed upon inspection of wheels prior to any work being undertaken.
